A knife sculpture is a work of art consisting of a knife, a stand for the knife to rest on and a base. The knife must include a blade and handle and may include a hilt. The knife must be comprised of precious and or semi precious stone or mineral or its derivatives,which represents 50% or better of its entirety.
Knife sculptures do not utilize steel as a blade or handle. Various metals, with the exception of steel, may be used to artistically garnish the knife
The knife stand and base are composed of organic materials, precious and or semi precious stones, minerals or their derivatives and or a combination thereof. The combination of the knife, stand and base consist of artistic form and function.
